Update – Summer Camp, Summer Math Class, & St. Chris Thank you
Hello BSW/BLC Families,
We have a few important updates for both academic and wizarding groups. BUT, first a big thank you to everyone that donated and contributed to the St. Christopher’s Children’s Hospital donation drive. Below are some pictures of the organizing and dropping off the donations. We are planning another drop off just before the 4th of July. We are still collecting if you have any new or gently used toys, stuffies, or pajamas that you are clearing out for your annual spring cleaning.

Camp Updates
We have a few that are full, a couple that are limited availability and 2 that haven’t opened yet for the full list is below.
Update for the West Chester Location
West Chester – June 23rd – 27th at Hoopes Park - Due to logistic challenges in the parks & recreation department, the opening of registration for all of their summer camps has been delayed. It looks like they will run, just delayed in being able to sign up. Please bear with them and keep that week available to register when it opens. We will let you know as soon as we hear it’s open.

Summer Math Classes
The Brandywine School of Wizardry is a subsidiary of the Brandywine Learning Center (BLC). BLC tutors in all grades and various subjects. Every summer our Math-Man Dan offers summer math classes muggles and wizards alike.

Our summer small group math classes are open for registration. Sign up now as space is limited to 8 students. This summer Dan Essex – math-man extraordinaire is BACK offering in-person math courses. Dan graduated from Temple University with a bachelor’s in mathematics and a certificate to teach math at a 7-12 grade level. He has been tutoring one-on-one in SAT, ACT, and math subjects since graduation in 2016, and has experience teaching in public and private schools at both middle and high school levels.

Math can be hard to remember on a good day! Now imagine you haven't looked at it for almost 3 months.
Math is cumulative -- having a strong base is important to do well in future math classes.
Keep your math skills sharp, get a deeper understanding of confusing concepts, and jump start next year's math success.
